Sisco, and countless other musicians, writers and producers that gave life to this
music. Add to that the blues work of John Lee "Sonny
Boy"Williamson, Yank Rachell, Sleepy John Estes and others, not to mention the
country and gospel influences and you have the soul of modern music. This music drew from
the regional influences that were natural to post - World War II life in the South.
