Lee was born Brenda Mae Tarpley in 1944 in Lithonia, Georgia. In 1949 she began as a child
prodigy on the radio in Conyers, Georgia and has been singing professionally since age
six. Brenda Lee, now in her 50s, had her first hit record
in 1960. Her hits included, All Alone Am I,
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree and Fool Number 1. The following is a list of the pop songs recorded by
