What Henry Harrison has done with Rockabilly Fest 2000 is open local eyes to the fact that rockabilly music has distinctive worldwide appeal and that Jackson, because of Carl Perkins, W. S. Holland, Clay and Jay Perkins and many others can lay an authentic claim to its heritage.

Whatever the International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame ultimately becomes, Rockabilly Fest 2000 is truly the event that kicked it off.
