MISSION 2000

Determine the Top Rockabilly Figures of All Time (musicians, singers, writers, producers, promoters, radio personalities, etc.)

Recognize the Top 100 Music Corridor (Memphis to Nashville) Figures of the 20th Century. (Performers, influences, producers, writers, musicians, radio personalities, promoters, agents, publishers, studio personnel, events/people who produced them).

We will seek input from selected individuals in the music business. But we primarily want your input. Post your nominations on our guestbook. (Post as many in each category as you desire). All nominations will be considered.

Reflect and post. The rockabillytennessee.com most influential search has begun.

MISSION II

It is time for Dewey Phillips to be recognized in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!

(Critics will contend he was just a local Memphis radio personality. If he had not been on the air with WHBQ’s Red Hot & Blue then who would have heard the Sun Sound?)

It’s Time!!!

MISSION III

Stay on top of what’s happening in music, from those who continue to reflect rockabilly’s soul, to those who preserve the root influences, to those who work from Memphis to Nashville. (Note of special concern from the music perspective – Nashville: Building or Declining. Nashville: The Next Century?)

MISSION IV

New Talent… where… who… what?

MISSION V

The Memphis – Nashville music corridor. What is the life that produced this music phenomenon? Where is it today? The Life & The Music.
